今天的天氣好很多,早上蘇老師坐陪,逛逛The Southern Ridges,這是新加坡南邊新開發的景點,將原本被公路切割的山丘群串聯,網站可以見到許多夜景畫面,重點是將Mount. Faber、Telok Blangah Hill Park與Kent Ridge Park串聯成健行或路跑步道,據了解當地人喜歡黃昏以後才開始活動,所以夜間照明設施做的很好。
我們是從CC26 Pasir Panjang 地鐵站進入山區,步道逐步高昇就被後續景像震憾,許多路段是採高架的方式,高度近乎樹冠層,而地面步道則是各區塊的健行步道,真是太奇特的概念,應該說政府很敢重金打造,整條步道串連一些二戰期間的建築體與官方的苗圃區改建的公園,整體來說,這是一條很棒的健行步道。
區塊的硬體設施與指示牌相當清楚,高架人行橋具備遮陽頂,許多路段視野相當不錯,就是對於林木的解說牌就要看官方提供的意願,這個區塊的林相調查應該是搞定,就看資料要如何釋出,讓當地人了解步道周邊的林木物種。
新加坡相關網站能夠參考的數量不多,出版品不容易找,當地對於自然領域偏動物,即使植物也是偏栽培種,野生物種的著墨不多,下午還有下午茶約,這趟算是走馬看花,或許下回慢慢逛可以找到更多的開花株。
