2. Euonymus cochinchinensis Pierre 交趾衛矛
Shrubs, subglabrous; branches terete. Leaves coriaceous, ternate, petioled, obovate, elliptic or oblong, acute or obtuse at the apex, attenuate at the base, 7-10 cm long, 3-5.5 cm wide; petioles 7 mm long. Flowers in loosely cymose panicles, 4-5 cm long, terminal or axillary. Fruit obovate globose, angular, truncate, about 1 cm long and wide; seed 1, elongate, about 7 mm long and 5 mm wide.
Indo-China Peninsula and the Philippines. Taiwan, known only from Lanyu Islet, in forests at low altitudes.

流苏卫矛 Euonymus gibber Hance
灌木，直立或微呈依附狀。葉革質或厚革質，對生或3葉輪生，窄長橢圓形或長倒卵形，長5-10釐米，寬2-5釐米，先端急尖而鈍，基部楔形，近全緣常稍外卷，側脈6-8對，與小脈均不甚顯著；葉柄長5-7毫米。聚傘花序長大而開展，2-3次分枝；花序梗長3-5釐米，分枝近平展，長1-1.5釐米，再次分枝較短；小花梗長約5毫米，中央花小花梗與兩側花等長；苞片及小苞片均細小，脫落；花5數，稀4數；萼片邊緣齧蝕狀；花瓣近圓形，頂端呈流蘇狀，基部窄縮成短爪；花盤微5裂；雄蕊著生花盤角上突起處，花絲扁，基部擴大呈錐狀，子房大部與花盤合生，有短花柱。蒴果近倒卵狀，上部5裂，裂片常深淺大小不等，果序梗長，有4棱，長5-7釐米；小果梗長5-8毫米；種子基部有淺杯狀假種皮。
產于臺灣、海南及香港。模式標本采自香港。
