6. Euonymus oxyphyllus Miq.　垂絲衛矛

Large deciduous shrubs. Leaves opposite, oblong or obovate, membranaceous, glabrous, 6-10 cm long, 3-3.5 cm wide, acute, serrulate or entire. Inflorescence cymose, with loose flowers. Flowers 4-5 merous, light green or white; calyx green, depressed rounded, entire; petals orbicular, 2-3 mm long, 2-3 mm wide. Fruit globose, smooth, 1.2-1.4 cm across.

Japan, Korea, and Mainland China. Taiwan, on mountains at about 1200 m altitude at the northern and southern parts.
