Shrubs; branchlets terete. Leaves glabrous, obovate to oblong ovate or elliptic, 3-8.8 cm long, 1.8-3.8 cm wide, acute to acuminate or sometimes obtuse at the apex, obtuse at the base, the margins crenate serrulate. Cymes long pedunculate; peduncles 3.5-5 cm long. Capsule 4-angled, about 12 mm long and 10 mm wide, sutended by the disc.
Endemic, Widely distributed throughout the island.
