4. Cissus repens Lam. 粉藤

A large vine, completely glabrous except the inflorescences, glaucous. Leaves broadly ovate, 7-12 cm long, 5.5-10 cm wide, acuminate, base broadly cordate, margin with distinct small sharp adpressed teeth. Cymes opposite leaves and forming terminal leafy inflorescences. Flowers small, greenish-yellow: petals triangular-ovate, distinct. Fruit purple, obovoid, usually apiculate, about 6 mm long, with a single seed.

India to southern China, the Philippines and Malaysia. Taiwan, throughout the island in thickets at low altitudes.
