5. Euonymus morrisonensis Kanehira & Sasaki in Kanehira　玉山衛矛

Small glabrous trees, the branchlets slender. Leaves coriaceous, pale yellowish when dry, oblong lanceolate, 4-6.5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, acuminate at the apex, obtuse at the base, the margins minutely serrate; petioles 2-5 mm long. Flowers solitary or 2-3 in cymes, axillary; peduncles 8-10 mm long. Capsule 5- or 4-angled, about 8 mm across, with persistent sepals.

Endemic. Known only from Mts. Yushan and Nenkao.
