1. Polygala arcuata Hayata 巨葉花遠志

A subshrub, up to 30 cm high. Leaves petiolate, the petioles 1-2.5 cm long; blades narrowly elliptic, 4-9 cm long, 1-3 cm wide, acuminate at apex, cuneate at base, veins 4-5 pairs arched toward upper part. Racemes axillary, 4 cm long; pedicels 1 mm long; flowers pinkish purple, 0.5 cm long. Capsules flat, reniform, entire, 4 mm long, 5 mm wide.

Endemic. At altitudes about 1700 m high elevation throughout the island.
