4. Polygala paniculata L. 圓錐花遠志

A subshrub, up to 45 cm high. Leaves subsessile, linear, 6-19 mm long, 1-3 mm wide, acute at apex, gradually narrowed at base, entire; petioles up to 1.5 mm long. Racemes 1.5-5.5 cm long; peduncles short; flowers white, 1 mm long, the pedicels about 0.5 mm long. Widely distributed in the tropics, introduced and naturalized into Taiwan at the lower elevation.
