2. SALOMONIA Lour. 齒果草屬

Erect, slender, annual herbs with leaves often reduced to scales. Flowers small, in dense terminal spikes; sepals nearly equal, the 2 interior ones somewhat larger; petals 3, united at the base with the staminal tube, the inferior keel-shaped, not crested; stamens 4 or 5, the filaments united below into a sheath, the anthers opening by pores; ovary 2-celled. Capsules thin, flat, usually ciliate, loculicidally dehiscent; seeds orbicular.
