肉質草本。莖有分枝，高達70釐米，無毛。葉片斜長圓形，長12-18釐米，寬6-7釐米，先端漸尖，基部斜心形，邊近全緣或有不規則細鈍齒，兩面無毛，上面密被白色斑點，下面紫紅色；葉柄長6-10釐米；托葉披針形，長7毫米，早落。花3-4朵，呈聚傘狀，腋生；花序梗長約4釐米；雄花：白色，花被片4，外面2枚大，寬卵形，長約8毫米，寬約7毫米，內面2枚小，長圓形，長約8毫米，寬約4毫米；雄蕊多數，花絲長約1.5毫米，花藥線形，長約2毫米；雌花：白色，花被片4;子房下位，3室，花柱3，頂端2裂。蒴果卵形，長1.2-1.5毫米，寬1.2-1.5毫米，具3翅，短而近等長；種子很多，小，紅褐色。

A succulent herb; stem branched, to 70 cm high, glabrous. Leaves obliquely oblong in outline, 12-18 cm long, 6-7 cm broad, apex acuminate, base obliquely cordate, margins nearly entire or irregularly repand-minute-crenate, glabrous on both surfaces, densely white-dotted above, purple-reddish beneath; petioles about 6-10 cm long; stipules lanceolate, 7 mm long, caducous. Flowers in axillary cymes, 3-4-flowered, peduncles about 4 cm long. Staminate flowers white, with 4 tepals, the two outer ones larger, broadly ovate, 8 mm long, 7 mm broad, the two inner ones smaller, oblong, 8 mm long, 4 mm broad; the stamens numerous; the filaments about 1.5 mm long; the anthers linear, about 2 mm long. Pistillate flowers white, with 4 tepals, ovary inferior, 3-celled, styles 3, bifid at apex. Fruit a capsule, ovate, 1.2-1.5 mm long, 1.2-1.5 mm broad, with 3 wings, short and subequal. Seeds minute and very numerous, red-brown.

多年生肉質草本。根狀莖短，匍匐生根，莖有分枝，粗壯，高達100釐米，被短柔毛，不久脫落幾無毛。葉片斜卵形，長12-18釐米，寬8-14釐米，先端漸尖，基部不等心形，邊緣有淺齒和緣毛，兩面被柔毛，掌狀8-9條脈，葉柄長8-25釐米，被柔毛，不久脫落幾無毛；托葉卵形，長約1.5釐米。聚傘花序，腋生，具3-7朵花，呈二歧狀；雄花：淡粉色，花被片4，外面2枚大，寬卵形，長1.6-2.3釐米，寬1.2-1.8釐米，內面2枚小，橢圓形，長11-14釐米，寬5-7毫米，外面被毛；雄蕊多數，長約4毫米；雌花：花被片5，外面4枚，卵形，長1.7-2釐米，寬1.4-1.8釐米，外面被毛，最內面的1枚橢圓形，長約1.2釐米，寬約4毫米，無毛；子房下位，具翅，花柱2，頂端2裂，柱頭扭曲呈螺旋狀。蒴果被毛，後脫落近無毛，具不等3翅，大的斜，長達2.5釐米，其餘2窄；種子極多數，窄，卵球形。

Herb succulent, perennial. Rhizome short, creeping. Stems branched, stout, up to 100 cm tall, pubescent, soon glabrescent. Leaves obliquely ovate, 12-18 cm long, 8-14 cm wide, acuminate at apex, unequally cordate at base, shallow-toothed and ciliate at margins, palmately 8-10-veined, pubescent on both sides; petioles 8-25 cm long, terete, pubescent, soon glabrescent; stipules ovate, 1.5 cm long, fugacious. Cymes axillary, 3- to 7- flowered; peduncles dichotomous. Staminate flowers pale-pink, with 4 segments, the two outer segments large, broadly ovate, 1.6-2.3 cm long, 1.2-1.8 cm wide, the two inner ones elliptic, 11-14 cm long, 0.5-0.7 cm wide, pubescent outside; stamens numerous, about 0.4 cm long. Pistillate flowers with 5 segments, the outer four ovate, 1.7-2.0 cm long, 1.4-1.8 cm wide, pubescent outside, the inmerost one elliptic, 1.2 cm long, 0.7 cm wide, glabrous; ovary inferior, 3-winged; styles 2, bifid at apex; stigma bent like a corkscrew. Fruit capsular, pubescent, turning glabrescent, unequally 3-winged, the two lateral wings narrower, the back wing much developed and oblique, up to 2.5 cm long. Seeds numerous, narrowly ovoid.
