1. Mukia maderaspatana (L.) M. J. Roem. 天花

A slender scabrous to hirsute vine. Leaves membranceous to chartaceous, more or less symmetrical, ovate to ovate-deltate, angularly shallowly to deeply 3-5-lobed, 3-9 cm long and wide, acuminate to acute at the apex, cordate at the base, irregularly mucronulate to denticulate at the margins scabrous to hirsute; petioles 2-9 cm long. Flowers yellow, scabrous to hirsute; calyx segments triangular, 1-1.5 mm long; corolla lobes ovate-oblong, 1-4 mm long, 1-2 mm wide. Fruits green, turning orange then to red at maturity, globose, 5-12 mm indiameter, smooth or sometimes rugose.

Tropical Africa, tropical Asia, and tropical Australia. Taiwan, on lowland rocky places and woods. Flowering Apr-Sep.
