1. Pachycentria formosana Hayata　台灣厚距花

A creeping shrub; stem lenticellate, glabrous. Leaves elliptic, 3-nerved with the nerves extending from above the base, 4-11 cm long, 1.4-4.5 cm broad, obtuse or acuminate with obtuse tip at apex, acute or ?cuneate at base, slightly dentate at margin, with very short hairs at both surfaces; petioles 5-15 mm long. Inflorescence terminal cymose; peduncles sessiles to 5 mm long; bracts 2, linear; calyx 4 mm long, 4-toothed ; petals 4, 7.5 mm long; stamens 8, subequal; ovary 4-celled. Fruit ovoid to subglobous, 5-6 mm across, 5-7 mm long.

Endemic, throughout the island under forest, forest margin at altitude 300-2,100 m.

3.西疇酸腳杆　Medinilla fengii (S. Y. Hu) C. Y. Wu et C. Chen

小灌木，高50-120釐米，通常附生於樹上，分枝多；莖近圓柱形或鈍四棱形，常因具皮孔而粗糙，無毛。葉片紙質或近堅紙質，倒卵形至橢圓形，頂端漸尖或近尾狀漸尖，基部楔形，長4-10釐米，寬2-3.5釐米，全緣或具疏細鋸齒，3基出脈，葉面密佈網狀小窩點，基出脈下凹，背面密佈糠秕狀小突起，以基出脈上較明顯，基出脈隆起，側脈不明顯，葉柄長5-12毫米，具槽。由鬆散的傘房花序組成小圓錐花序，頂生，有花3-6(-16)朵，長2-3釐米，寬3-5釐米；苞片極小，早落；花梗長5-10毫米，花萼長約5毫米，漏斗形，無毛，具密小突起，裂片4，卵形，長約2毫米，頂端圓形，具小尖頭；花瓣4，微粉紅色，廣倒卵形，長約6毫米，於右上角突出1小片，頂端近平截而微凹，具小圓突起，雄蕊8，幾等長，花藥基部具鑽形小突起，藥隔基微下延成短距；子房下位，頂端具數齒，4室，無毛。漿果壇形，長6-7毫米，直徑4-5毫米；種子多數，倒卵形，光滑。花期約6月，果期10-12月。

產雲南東南部。生於海拔650-1500米的山谷密林中、灌木叢中、溪邊石縫中或附生於樹上。模式標本采自雲南西疇。

本一種與紅葉酸腳杆M. erythrophylla (Wall.) Lindl. 相近，但本種枝紅褐色，具朋顯的皮孔；萼片卵形，長約2毫米，花瓣於右上角突出1小片；雄蕊花藥基部具鑽形小突起，藥隔基部下延呈短距，可以區別。
