莢蒾屬 Viburnum
- 日本莢蒾 Viburnum japonicum (Thunb.) Sprengel → Cornus kousa F. Buerger ex Hance subsp. kousa
齒葉組 Viburnum sect. Odontotinus
- 植物體被簇狀毛或無毛;幼枝圓柱形或有時四角狀。冬芽有2對鱗片。葉臨冬凋落,稀常綠,邊緣常有鋸齒或牙齒,極少淺裂或掌狀 3-5裂,側脈直達齒端,極少近緣時互相網結,最下一對有時作離基3出脈或3出脈狀,極少具掌狀 3-5脈;托葉存在或否。聚傘花序複傘形式,頂生或生於具1對葉的側生短枝之頂;花冠白色,很少粉紅色,輻狀;花藥黃白色。果實紅色,極少黑色;核扁,有3(-1)條腹溝及2(-1)條淺背溝;有時背、腹溝均退化,或背面凸起,腹面凹陷,其形如構。
