玄參科　Scrophulariaceae
胡麻草屬　Centranthera
單葉；對生，莖近頂部互生。
兩性花；單出或穗狀花序，小苞片2枚；花萼 合生，佛焰苞狀，2裂；筒形花冠，5裂，略等長，雄蕊4枚，2長2短的二強雄蕊；雌蕊心皮2枚，合生，花柱1枚，子房2室；子房上位，中軸胎座。
蒴果，宿存花萼包被，胞背開裂。
