馬來西亞 Kepong Botanical Garden 初訪 2017/01/18

早上搭計程車還是雞同鴨講,送我到FRIM大門口,只好順著車道進入園區,反正植物園與FRIM是互通,順著車道步行約半小時才走到植物園的後門,植物園是有獨立的大門,後來發現此門實在不顯眼,大概只有當地人才會知道,因為大門隱藏於醫院的後方巷弄。FRIM外頭的道路相當擁塞,必須早早出門,不然步行進出還比較方便。
FRIM華語稱馬來西亞森林研究所,屬官方機構,園區主要是龍腦香科物種標本園,植物園地處南側,門票的相機費另計,外國人合計10.5馬幣,馬來西亞許多風景區的狀況吧,攜帶相機都要另外收費,園區的天空步道也是另外收費,時間固定排程含嚮導解說,每人10馬幣,此行並沒有規劃,可能下回去走走看。
此行主要是在Kepong Botanical Garden,其它區塊就是下回再說,整個園區面積實在太大,解說牌不多,高大林木實在太難搞,多讀些資料再補拍會比較清楚點,順道進入Kepong Botanical Garden見到一些開花物種,實在太顯眼,還是補些畫面。
植物園的辦公室置於植物園後方,誤認是大門口,透過工作人員的解說才知植物園還要再走一段路,幸好未久就看到栽種的民俗植物區,還是老問題,解說牌不多,只能先拍開花株,雖然當地出版專書,卻是專論龍腦香科物種,其它完全被放生,只能循網路資料尋找正確的學名。
Phyllanthus amarus;小返魂的開花株訂正為Phyllanthus pulcher,兩者性狀實在差很遠,就直接修正,目前尚有兩物種待確認,至於Garcinia開花株,近似Garcinia macrophylla,還要多看看搞懂再說。目前見到赤楠屬 Syzygium物種都依據解說牌學名,物種太多太難辨識。
園區地圖僅出現網站,當地並無展示,只能憑印像沿水池慢慢晃,原本以為豬籠草是置於溫室,沒想到植栽於棚架,還混搭Vanilla屬物種,或許溫度太高,豬籠草的特化器官長的很差,原本以為可以見到花況,如此根本不會想拍,跟期待值差太遠,而且族群搞不清楚是原生種還是栽培種,只好拍幾張記錄照及棚架内的開花物種。
Saraca cauliflora併入Saraca declinata,只是外觀與新加坡的開花株有點不太一樣,這類樹都相當高大,許多特徵不太容易看到,幸好找到一篇Saraca屬的論述可以重新檢視,日後就置於Saraca的討論區。
Tabernaemontana pachysiphon與Tabernaemontana africana部分網站展示的花朵性狀雷同度太高,此兩物種主要分布於非洲,最後是看到Flora of Zambia的文字論述,決定採用Tabernaemontana africana,所以物種的相關資料置於該物種的討論區。
幸好水池漫生[[[Utricularia aurea]] 黃花狸藻,花況相當好,卯起來拍一些水生物種景觀畫面,這塊水生物種族群好像是刻意保留,可惜不易親近,特寫畫面不易取得,跟據馬來西亞植物誌的論述,[[[Utricularia]]物種數量不少,有空就多看看。
原本期待的豬籠草族群變成空手返,只好走一圈,看到啥拍啥,近3點就撤,再不撤退,就糗囉,側門走回飯店的路線算是單純,沒人行道是此地最大的問題,路旁的廢棄物超多,只能看著辦,回到飯店未久,大雨滂沱。
